Exploration and Mining Geology Management:
This section is managed by Mr. A. Kyamanywa, one of the Company directors who deal with Mineral Exploration services and Mr. A. Bushi is the director dealing with Mining Geology services.

Mineral Exploration and Geological Hazards
Dr. A. Macheyeki is the Founding Company Managing Director dealing with both Mineral Exploration and Geological Hazards Services. All of these directors have more than 10 years experience practicing as geologists working with multinational and national companies inside and outside Tanzania.

Key shareholders of the company include geologists and surveyors. Of these some are BSc., MSc., and others are PhD holders with a minimum of 10 years experience in their fields. Each of the PhD holders has at least two peer reviewed publication.

Publications:
The Company aims at publishing at least one useful book to geo-scientists in every five years to be used by our stakeholders and the public.

Services offered by the company:

Currently GeSCO is providing three types of services in geo-sciences:

(i)   Economic-class services: These are routine services, simple in operation, less time demanding and require only basic understanding of the principles of geology/geo-science knowledge.

(ii)   Business-class services: These are services that are time-consuming in nature (e.g. undertaking mineral exploration in a given area). The services would entail mobilization of various machinery, subcontracts of specialized expertise, special software, etc.

(iii)   Research/Academic services: These are services that aim at either solving a special problem from our customers or carrying out detailed investigation whose nature is more academic than commercial. These shall involve minimum fieldwork and extensive data management, processing, analysis, interpretation and as rule, report writing.
