2.3 Quality of thesis

In 1996 he submitted at the University of Dar Es Salaam a BSc thesis titled Ground Magnetic Survey and Geological Survey at Mwisa Prospect, NW Tanzania. It highlights the interplay between geology and geophysics in Ni-Cu sulphide deposits exploration. Qualitative and quantitative techniques are shown.

In 2003, he submitted at the University of the Western Cape, an MSc thesis titled Lithogeochemical Vectors Associated with the Kabanga Ni-Cu Sulphide Deposits, NW Tanzania. In this research work, three (3) lithogeochemical vectors were derived based on element variation in both detached ores and ores next to ultramafic rocks (contact ores).

In 2008, he submitted at the University of Ghent, a PhD thesis titled Fault Segmentation, Paleostress and Paleoseismic Investigation in the Dodoma area, Tanzania: Implications for Seismic Hazard Evaluation. In this research work, potential areas for geological hazards were identified. Quantification of the possible earthquakes was also undertaken.
