Alphonce is Director for Mining Geology.

Alphonce Bushi (42), is BSc. Holder in Geology. He obtained his BSc. Geology (Hons) in 1996 from the University of Dar Es Salaam.

He is currently working for the Geological Survey of Tanzania. Be fore then, he worked for various exploration and Mining companies such as (1) Western Metals (T) ltd (2007-2008) where he was exploring for Uranium in Tanzania, (2) Barrick North Mara Gold Mine (2006-2007) where he was employed as a Production Mine geologist, (3)  Golden Pride (Resolute T ltd) where he was employed as a Senior Mine geologist (2001-2006), (4) Anglo American (PTY), 1997-2001 where he worked as an Exploration geologist.

His main duties included Mining supervision, grade control, geological mapping, radiation monitoring, report writing, geotechnical mapping, core and rock chips sampling and logging and geochemical surveys (stream, soil and grab sampling).
